Fiat® Taps SapientNitro for Sin City-Inspired Web Videos Featuring Supermodel Catrinel Menghia


BOSTON – May 10, 2012 SapientNitro, part of Sapient (NASDAQ: SAPE), announced today that they have been enlisted by luxury brand Fiat® to transform its long-standing point-of-purchase model, and create a bridge from the customer awareness stage to the sales generation stage. In doing so, SapientNitro and Fiat are seducing customers by displaying the sexy side of the new Fiat 500 Abarth in a series of three distinctively shot web videos, which are now hosted on the Fiat website,

While it has received recognition for its first-class racing pedigree in the European market, the Fiat 500 Abarth had yet to achieve the same momentum in the U.S. SapientNitro was tasked with conceptualizing three video spots to re-invigorate the brand and lead prospective customers to a new, content-rich website – and thus driving demand directly to Fiat dealerships nationally.

SapientNitro enlisted seductive supermodel Catrinel Menghia of the infamous Fiat Super Bowl spot to help showcase the exceptional vehicle in its most high-octane action mode. The three spots were filmed in and around Las Vegas – from the desert to the racetrack to the ever-iconic Las Vegas strip – an emotionally enticing backdrop for the performance car commonly referred to as “The Scorpion.” The spots have also led to additional content developed for the site, including an interchangeable seven-camera view lap around a prominent Sin City racetrack.
