Consulting Magazine Recognizes Sapient's Teresa Bozzelli as a Top 25 Consultant

ARLINGTON, VA– June 3, 2011 — Teresa Bozzelli, vice president and head of Sapient Government Services, a division of Sapient, has been named a Top 25 Consultant by Consulting Magazine in the Public Sector category.

“Teresa’s ability to inspire leadership has greatly accelerated innovation in the Government Services division,” said Alan Wexler, senior vice president and head of Sapient’s North America operations. “She and her team are laser focused on solving government’s biggest problems in a way that empowers the individual citizen. We commend her for a job well done and congratulate her on winning this prestigious honor.”
Bozzelli was recognized for creating a compelling vision and recording three milestones during her first year – 35% revenue growth, significant headcount increases, and the acquisition of new clients such as The National Cathedral and Centers for Disease Control -- more than in any other year in the division’s history.  A former vice president at Booz Allen Hamilton, Bozzelli saw the Obama administration's mandate for leveraging digital channels and promoting transparency as opportunities for Sapient. Her vision was to apply Sapient's expertise in digital technology and marketing on the commercial side to improve the relationship between the government and its citizens.  Improving the citizen experience is a passion that drives everything she does.

Bozzelli’s commitment extends to the pro-bono work Sapient does for several charitable organizations in the DC area, such as the business consulting and digital marketing it did for No Greater Sacrifice. Recently, Bozzelli chaired the 2011 Charity Gala for the Children’s Inn at the National Institute of Health, raising $635,000.

“We were incredibly impressed with the 400 or so nominations we received this year. Each year, the Top 25 nominations get stronger, and this year we heard from a lot more clients than we normally do, which is fantastic,” says Consulting’s editor-in-chief, Joe Kornik.  “It looks like we’re finally turning the corner and companies are tired of trying to cost cut their way to success. Instead they are investing again, and they are turning to consultants to help them with a variety of business functions across all sectors.”
The Top 25 Consultants were recognized in the following areas: Leadership, Client Service, Healthcare, Financial Services, Public Sector, Retail, and Technology. For a complete listing, see

Consulting Magazine will honor The Top 25 recipients at a gala awards dinner at the St. Regis Hotel in New York City on June 8.
