Sapient Global Markets’ CMRS wins ‘Best Risk Management Solution – Innovation’ at 2015 Wall St Letter Awards

February 23, 2015 — Boston, USA Sapient Global Markets, a part of Publicis.Sapient, and leading global provider of business technology and consulting services for the capital and commodity markets, today announced that its Compliance Management Reporting System (CMRS) has been named ‘Best risk management solution – innovation’ in the 2015 Wall Street Letter Institutional Trading Awards.

Now in its fourth year, the 2015 WSL Institutional Trading Awards recognize excellence among providers to the institutional trading industry, specifically rewarding brokerage firms, exchanges and financial technology companies for achievements and innovation over the past year.

CMRS enables firms to more efficiently and effectively meet regulatory reporting commitments across various jurisdictions, by establishing a common enterprise platform to manage and publish reporting requirements to various regulatory agencies. It has the ability to connect and source data from all major trade capture systems or bespoke enterprise systems. CMRS collects and normalizes data from those sources before transforming it into formats accepted by the five main repositories for EMIR and Dodd-Frank reporting: CME, DTCC, ICE Trade Vault, REGIS-TR and UnaVista.

“Regulatory reporting challenges are fundamentally changing the operational and business requirements of capital markets firms. While firms have tackled regulatory compliance in a variety of ways, many are now assessing the state of their current reporting solutions and processes,” said Randall Orbon, senior vice president at Sapient Global Markets. “Through solutions such as CMRS, we are delivering strategic and transformative work to support these firms to manage their risk, reduce complexity and manage operational costs. This award for innovation in risk management is further recognition of that work and the tangible results we have delivered to our buy-side, sell-side and energy trading clients.”
