SapientNitro Strengthens Creative Team to Capitalize on Opportunities of Expanding Market.

 

Gurgaon – September 22, 2014– SapientNitro, part of&nbsp;Sapient&nbsp;(NASDAQ: SAPE), today announced two senior appointments that further the agency’s differentiated position in India, a strategic and expanding market. Rohitash Srivastava joins SapientNitro as Director--Marketing & Brand Strategy and Abhishake Das joins as Director--Creative. &nbsp;Both bring pedigrees that help position the agency to address increasing client demand for its unique combination of creative and technology services. The appointments build on the momentum and creative vision set by KV “Pops” Sridhar, Chief Creative Officer of SapientNitro, India, who joined the agency in June 2014.

Srivastava is a brand strategist and consumer expert who comes to SapientNitro from Futures Ideas, Future Group’s ideation and cultural insights cell. For more than a decade, he has played a key role on work for brands including Thums-Up, Stayfree, Saffola, Maaza, Limca, Union Bank and Uninor Telecom. His prior agency experience includes McCann, Leo Burnett and DDB.

Das joins SapientNitro from Whyness Worldwide.&nbsp; He has to his credit more than 50 regional and global awards for his work on brands such as Volkswagen, Red Bull, McDonalds, Adidas, Nestle, Network Web18, Honda SEIL and Mondelez.&nbsp; Over the past decade, he has headed creative teams and set up the digital disciplines at Tribal DDB, McCann Erickson and BBH.
