James King Joins SapientNitro as Associate Creative Director in New York

 

Appointment Bolsters Experience Design Discipline

NEW YORK, April 14, 2011SapientNitro, part of Sapient (NASDAQ: SAPE), announced today that it has hired James King as an associate creative director in its New York office. King brings more than a decade of diverse experience in arts, traditional advertising, and digital marketing to SapientNitro’s integrated marketing and technology service offerings.

“James is a unique professional with not only a strong arts and traditional creative perspective, but also the ability to conceptualize and execute engaging brand-led user experiences across channels,” said Donald Chesnut, global lead, experience design at SapientNitro. “James’ skills and knowledge of interaction design and its role within through-the-line marketing will be a great asset to our integrated marketing services for clients.”

King joins SapientNitro from MRM Worldwide where he led the user experience discipline. Before MRM Worldwide, he also worked at R/GA, iCrossing, and Chiat/Day, where he was notably the first information architect (IA) and helped to establish the IA department within the company. Through projects that utilize different facets of technology, from mobile and social to physical and virtual, James won numerous Cannes, One Show, and Webby awards for campaigns, sites, and applications for clients such as Chevrolet, General Mills, and Nike.
