Ben Guyer Joins SapientNitro to Drive Excellence in Experience Design

 

LONDON, UK– August 2nd, 2011SapientNitro, part of Sapient (NASDAQ: SAPE), has appointed BBC’s Ben Guyer to the new role of Associate Creative Director for Experience Design, focusing on mobile technology.

 

Ben joins from BBC User Experience & Design, where he was Creative Director for Mobile for two-and-a-half years, leading the UX of the BBC News and BBC iPlayer apps, and overseeing BBC mobile web presences including iPlayer and the homepage. Before that he worked on design and interaction for brands including Nokia, Samsung, and Philips Design.

 

In his new role, he reports to SapientNitro’s Chief Creative Officer, Europe, Malcolm Poynton, working across a range of the agency’s clients.

 

Ben’s role is a new one at SapientNitro, and has been created as consumers spend more and more time using a variety of mobile devices, and as clients are increasingly demanding high-level mobile strategy to be fully integrated into their marketing campaigns.
