Sapient Expands San Francisco Presence

San Francisco, CA — November 16, 2007 — Sapient (NASDAQ: SAPE) today announced the hiring of four interactive marketing leaders – Nellie Newman, Peter Sapienza, Trip Henderson and Judi Adams. The new members of the team will serve notable Bay Area clients including Logitech, Intuit, Cisco, and Kaiser Permanente as well as a growing base of West Coast brands such as Sony Electronics, Public Storage and HondaJet.

The newest members of the Sapient San Francisco team include:

Peter Sapienza
Sapienza brings over 14 years of interactive marketing experience to Sapient. In his new role as director of strategy, Sapienza will be responsible for marketing strategy, user experience and go-to-market strategy for Sapient clients’ technology-enabled marketing solutions.

Before joining Sapient, Sapienza was a principal at Crimson Consulting where he developed its Interactive Strategy practice and led client business with marquee brands such as Disney, Verizon Broadband, ABC, FX Networks and Miller Brewing Company. Previously, he was lead strategist for interactive marketing projects for Sony Pictures, Fox Searchlight, Polo and Virgin.

Trip Henderson
As account director at Sapient, Henderson will be charged with delivering solutions and managing client relationships for strategic West Coast brands.

Previously, Henderson held strategy and account director positions at leading digital agencies such as Organic, Razorfish and Agency.com. In these roles, he developed expertise in leading large-scale engagements focused upon online marketing strategy, online advertising, and website development. Key clients he previously served include Visa, EarthLink, Nike, Nestle USA, Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino, The South China Morning Post, Charles Schwab & Co., the Home Depot and Washington Mutual

Judi Adams
In the position of Senior Content Strategist, Adams will be responsible for developing marketing concepts and copy for interactive and traditional media.

Adams brings a deep background in interactive and traditional advertising and marketing to Sapient’s Interactive team. She previously worked with the Kessler Group, Adams Creative Services and Ogilvy & Mather. Over this time, she gained extensive agency and client-side experience working on accounts as diverse as Jaguar, Goldman Sachs, Castrol and MTV.

Nellie Newman
As a director of business development at Sapient, Newman is charged with successfully merging technology and marketing to effectively meet the needs of her clients.

Newman brings rich experience in interactive marketing as well as deep expertise in social media and networking to Sapient. As the former senior client director at Avenue A|Razorfish, Newman ran both the Life Sciences vertical market offering as well as the newly created Enterprise/Portal practice for the western region. Before Sapient, Newman was vice president of business development at Trignos, a technology consulting firm specializing in the technology strategy, design and development of social networking sites, mobile/desktop widgets and security architecture. Prior to that, she was the vice president,
client services for Leverage Software.
