SapientNitro Hires Jake Benjamin as Creative Director in New York Office
NEW YORK, August 17, 2010—SapientNitro has announced that Jake Benjamin has joined the company as a creative director in New York.
“Jake is imaginative, resourceful and brings unexpected solutions to every client he works with,” said Kathy Delaney, head of creative for North America for SapientNitro. “He brings to his new role deep experience in digital and traditional advertising plus the ability to craft messages across a wide range of brands. He’ll be a great addition to our team.”
Benjamin is an award-winning creative professional who has written copy, created and directed well-known campaigns for clients such as Tide, Hyundai and ASPCA. His 12-year career includes receiving numerous advertising, marketing and communications awards from Cannes, One Show, Clio, D&AD and the ADDYs (National and New York).
Prior to joining SapientNitro, Benjamin was a senior copywriter for Goodby Silverstein & Partners. There he took part in developing the Hyundai ‘Assurance’ campaign which offered customers the chance to return their car if they lost their job. The campaign was hugely successful for Hyundai sales and earned a Titanium award at the Cannes Lions advertising festival.
Benjamin holds a BS degree in Advertising with a concentration in Marketing from the University of Colorado.
