Chip Register Named One of Consulting Magazine’s Top 25 Consultants
BOSTON, June 17, 2010—Sapient Global Markets, part of Sapient (NASDAQ: SAPE) and a leading provider of services to today’s institutional financial and commodity markets participants, today announced that Chip Register was named a “Top 25 Consultant, 2010” in the category of “Excellence in Energy” by Consulting Magazine.
Award recipients will be honored at Consulting Magazine’s Top 25 Awards Dinner this evening at the St. Regis Hotel in New York.
Now in its 11th year bestowing these prestigious awards, Consulting Magazine reviewed more than 400 applications submitted by winners’ co-workers, colleagues, clients and C-level executives before choosing the top consultants. The magazine’s June issue devotes a 24-page spread to the winners.
After making the change from client to consultant more than three years ago, Chip came to Sapient Global Markets to change the paradigm in the trading and risk management space. During his tenure, he has increased revenue by 250 percent and has taken on some of the highest profile clients and challenges in the industry.
As senior vice president and managing director of Sapient Global Markets, Register serves on the leadership team of Sapient. In these capacities, he is heavily involved in the ongoing strategic planning, business development, and operational management of the company.

In both capacities, he partnered with Sapient and chartered the company to play a significant role in designing and implementing solutions for his businesses. ??Before that, Register spent 10 years developing trading businesses for Union Bank of Switzerland and CIBC World Markets.
