Teresa Bozzelli
Vice President & Managing Director, Sapient Government Services

Citizens' expectations are escalating in this time of digital immersion. The citizen demands that interactions with the government be as easy and effective as with a trusted commercial or academic institution.
Engaging citizens in an informed way that encourages dialogue and participation is the foundation of democracy. We are helping to create meaningful experiences for government agencies and citizens by turning the power of government data into information.

As head of Sapient Government Services, public sector veteran Teresa Bozzelli is positioning Sapient as a strategic partner to US government clients. By leveraging Sapient's marketing, creative, and technology strengths, she brings increased value of services to the federal government at a time in which it seeks to transform itself and its relationship to citizens.
As a former chief operating officer at IDC Government Insights and vice president and partner at Booz Allen Hamilton, Bozzelli brings more than 20 years of experience as a thought leader and trusted IT advisor to clients across the US Government.
Bozzelli founded Government Insights, an IDC company established to deliver research and advisory services for information technology trends and innovations specific to the public sector for improved mission delivery and operations. Prior to IDC, Bozzelli was a vice president and partner at Booz Allen Hamilton, where she orchestrated business development and government contracts delivery across more than 20 government organizations. Among her accomplishments was the design, development, and implementation of one of the first successful government-wide systems for improved citizen services. Bozzelli began her career with IBM, where she was responsible for software design on NASA's Space Shuttle Support and Mission Control programs.
Bozzelli was named a Top 25 Consultant by Consulting Magazine in 2011 and awarded AFCEA Bethesda's Chairman's award. Teresa also was recently profiled in Forbes as at Top Women in DC and named a March of Dimes Heroines in Technology award finalist for her exemplary leadership and commitment to the community.
