BOSTON – June 24, 2008 – Sapient (NASDAQ: SAPE) today announced that it has appointed Dean Ridlon as its director of investor relations. Ridlon joins Sapient from Avid Technology, Inc.—a worldwide leader in tools for film, video, audio, 3D animation, gaming and broadcast—where he served as director of investor relations since 2001. Ridlon will be responsible for Sapient’s investor relations strategy and serve as a corporate spokesperson to the financial community. He will report directly to Sapient Chief Financial Officer Joseph S. Tibbetts, Jr.

With twenty years of communications experience, Ridlon has worked extensively with companies involved in e-commerce, advertising and video market sectors.
He received a Bachelor of Arts in economics from Bates College in Lewiston, ME. He also holds a certificate in Investor Relations from Bentley College in Waltham, MA.
