What is the typical Sapient compensation?
Sapient compensation consists of base salary, variable pay (e.g. bonuses), and long-term incentives to eligible participants in the form of equity awards (e.g. stock options, restricted stock). All Sapient people are eligible for equity awards during the compensation review cycle based on performance, value, and impact. In addition, Sapient provides competitive benefits and excellent work experience.
How much will I travel?
Individual travel requirements will vary based on project needs. You will likely have the opportunity to travel to great cities and client sites as a Sapient team member.

Does Sapient offer tuition reimbursement?
You must be employed at Sapient six months or longer to participate in the tuition-reimbursement program. Eligible employees may take up to two classes a term for reimbursement. Eligible employees may receive a total of $6,000 of reimbursement in a calendar year, assuming grades of A or B. Full details of the reimbursement policy will be provided with benefits information.
Does Sapient sponsor visas?
Sapient can help you obtain the proper work authorizations. Sapient pays:
- Fifty percent of the legal fees incurred in obtaining an H1-B up to $750 if the employee uses an attorney recommended by Sapient
- The $500 employer training/filing fee required by INS
- Fifty percent of the legal fees incurred in obtaining a green card for employees who have been with Sapient for at least one year
Sapient does not reimburse for attorney's expenses (Sapient person's filing fees, photocopies, fax and delivery charges, etc.) related to obtaining an H1-B visa or green card. The Sapient person is responsible for the remaining fifty percent of legal fees. Sapient people who start working at Sapient with a valid F1 Employment Authorization must be employed at least three months before Sapient will pay for half of the attorney's fees incurred in obtaining the H1-B. Sapient people who leave Sapient within one year of receiving any work authorization are expected to reimburse Sapient for the amount Sapient has paid for legal services fees.
