The Sapient interview process is designed to allow you to develop a comprehensive understanding of who we are and provide an opportunity for us to get to know you in more detail.
Our first-round, on-campus interview is a 45-minute session that will assess your leadership potential and fit with our organization. After the first round, applicants will be contacted to schedule a one-hour skills evaluation designed to evaluate your problem-solving and communication skills. Final rounds will be conducted during a Sapient Super Saturday in one of our North American offices. This office-based event will include a presentation by one of our senior executives, a behavioral interview, a Q&A session with new hires, and a team-building activity. The day will be capped off with a fun social event in the city.

Interview Process
The hiring process begins with an on-campus presentation by a senior executive introducing Sapient; our business;people and values; and the extraordinary opportunities for growth that are available. The presentation will be followed by a questions-and-answers session, which will serve as a two-way exchange of information and ideas.
Right after the pre-placement talk, all interested students take up the technical exercise. This will consist of business problems that you are required to solve on paper using C/C++ or JAVA over an hour's time.
Following this, we screen the answer papers and shortlist students we would like to meet with for an interactive discussion that will be based on the exercise that was attempted a short while before. This interview is a chance for you to show us how you think through a real business problem and solve it using technology, and for us to give you examples of the kinds of work we do everyday.
If this interview goes well, we will conduct a second interview that will assess your proficiency in some basic consulting skills like leadership, task management, communication, and will also gauge your alignment with our values. We will end the process with a dialogue with a Sapient director before we finally extend an offer. If time permits, the day will be capped off with a fun social event in the city for all selected students.
By the end of your interaction with us you will have a strong understanding of our purpose, how we develop careers and potential better than anyone else and how we make a fundamental impact on our clients, industry and the world.
