When I first joined the company I participated in Sapient Start, the new hire orientation program. This proved to be the perfect transition from college, combining classroom teaching and real world application to both integrate me into Sapient’s culture, and prepare me for my first client engagement.
I was able to get involved and implement a marketing idea I had from day one. I sent an e-mail to the head of Marketing, and the very next day I was integrated into a team to help get it accomplished.

I graduated from the University of Virginia in May 2006 with a degree in Foreign Affairs and Religious Studies. While there I rowed with the men’s crew team, was a member of the Jefferson Literary and Debating Society, and served as Counsel for the Honor Committee. During the summers I waited tables, interned at a law firm, and interned at the national headquarters of a major political party.
I love public speaking and debate. Give me a captive audience or a witty opponent in argument and I can go for hours (poor them!). I also enjoy rowing, cycling, and backpacking.
